Risk-Taking Fashion Designer Bets on Iconic Men’s Grooming Brand
MENAJI, the creators of the best selling, iconic Urban Camouflage® corrective concealer along with Hi-Def pressed powders, has been used by professionals, actors, models and athletes alike since 2000. This season, the popular brand was chosen by Colorado-born designer and artist Neil Patrick Grotzinger whose men’s clothing brand NIHL appeared in his first groundbreaking show for New York Men’s Fashion Week. With proven healthy skincare and quick problem solving skintone true cosmetics that stand up to bright lights and extreme wear, MENAJI delivered what was needed to complete this designer’s vision.
NIHL, whose work explores men’s roles in society around fashion and infuses traditional separates with elements of couture craftsmanship, pushes boundaries and challenges males stereotypes. With complex textures combined with couture embroidery, it’s no surprise that a designer like NIHL wanted a statement-making, dramatic look to go with the bold fabrics, lines and colors.
Pamela Viglielmo, President of MENAJI, says, “MENAJI products capture the essence of NIHL’s modern style to represent a man who is comfortable in his own skin and isn’t afraid to take risks and question the rules. Neil’s “free of limitations” design allowed MENAJI to create the perfect canvas to show his bold expressive fashion. It was the perfect fit.”
With New York Fashion Week happening again in Winter, MENAJI looks forward to working with innovative top talent like NIHL. Whether pushing boundaries or staying within traditional gender lines to simply keep men looking their best, men’s grooming and make-up is more important than ever. As men’s fashion events and exciting runway shows demand high performance products that work to deliver the looks needed for a diverse audience, MËNAJI will be there!
