Frequently Asked Questions

By using a sponge or brush you can control the amount of power you “pick up” and apply to your face. Simply, swipe the sponge across the pressed powder and tap off the excess. Then lightly apply the pad with the powder side to your skin area. “Sweep” it across your skin to get an over all even application. By using a sponge you can “blend” the anti-shine powder so that it disappears on your skin.

In contrast, our Kabuki brush allows you to “dust” the pressed powder across your face which delivers a bit of “suntan” color to your skin. Generally our brush is used to apply our HDPV Sunless Tan pressed powder across the forehead, on the bridge of the nose, on the cheek bone areas. This allows you to have a “sun tanned” look; mimicking the way your skin looks when it has been in the sun.

With both applications, our HDPV pressed powder is matte and delivers natural looking skin tone coverage.

Start by applying a bit of powder with the sponge. If you still see facial shine/oily skin, add a little more again by sweeping the pad with powder on top of your skin. Keep adding until you are satisfied with your result and have the oil free look that you wish. If you apply more than you want, simply take a tissue to wipe over the area to reduce the amount on your skin.

Yes, the more you put on in one area, the darker it will become. If you only wish to remove oily shine, a light application is needed. If you are looking to enhance/add more color to your natural skin shade (light, medium, dark, bronze, or sunless tan), you can add more powder.

No, regardless of the amount, your coverage will last the same amount of time. Also, with a thicker application you may have too dark, or too light a look depending on the shade that you use.

NO, our HDPV pressed powder is non-comedogenic; which means the cosmetic product will not clog pores. HDPV Anti-Shine provides a matte finish with none of the oily ingredients that can cause skin irritations and problems. It’s purpose is to remove shine and cover blemishes, not make them!

Yes, you should always wash your face at the end of the day to remove anything on your skin, such as dirt, sweat, and other unhealthy pollutants, as well as cosmetics. Use a simple facial cleanser to ensure your skin is healthy clean and then use a moisturizer and/or nightly anti-aging lotion to hydrate and deliver vitamins and nutrients to your skin while you sleep.

No, it will only come off if you wipe your face with a towel. Otherwise, as long as you apply and allow the HDPV anti-shine pressed powder to adhere for a couple minutes on your skin, it it should stay on your face until you wash it off, whether you sweat or not.

That the original purpose, however, many men now use this amazing camouflage product on other skin areas. So, feel free to use our HDPV pressed powders anywhere you wish to reduce oily shine, lessen the appearance of a topical skin imperfection, or add a bit of a summer sun tan. For example, your neck.

Since HDPV pressed powder provides hi-def undetectable coverage for hours, you will get many applications. However, how many uses will depend upon how much you use with each application, e.g. how much you apply to your face and how often you use it.

Yes, our HDPV will last during the day in most weather conditions

You should replace your pressed powder pads whenever you feel it has become dirty. With regular use, you will be able to get many uses for your pads before you may need to wash it. IF so, simply use mild soap and gently clean with warm water making sure to remove all soap residue. For information on cleaning your Kabuki Brush please go the following.

I’m loving this new anti shine sunless tan. Great product. Another home run for Menaji

My husband loves this product. It looks totally natural unlike many similar products from other high end cosmetic companies. Another great product for Menaji!

I have only purchased one of the sunless tan units so far and it has lasted quite a long time. I use it sparingly as a contrast to the regular anti-shine powde. I use that often and apply it to my entire face. Since the average person has multiple tones to their face, heavier usage of a single color powder can make you seem a little off. This tan color is used on my t-zone and cheeks to restore the natural look that I am going for. Don’t get me wrong, the anti-shine powder does a great job and is undetectable when used as directed. I just continued to use multiple Menaji products over the years and found ways to be creative with them as I own a majority of the product line and like almost everything they offer.

My new favorite! The light concealer leaves me looking just a little paler than I’d like, and this does the trick! A little goes a very long way, at least with the kabuki brush, and I over did it my first time using it. Most of the color deposits wherever your first touch the skin, but it blends easily. I like to use it was a light eyeshadow and contour as well! This really brings my whole look together and gives me that warm glow I love even at the end of winter
